Pad grid — 16 drum sounds. The number on each pad (36, 38, 42…) is the MIDI note that triggers it. Loaded pads glow green; empty ones are dim.
Inspector (right) — settings for the selected pad: Volume knob (drag ↕), Velocity response, MIDI note + Learn, and Load Sample… to swap in your own audio file.
Sequencer (bottom) — a 16-step grid per track. Toggle cells to program a beat, then press play. Set BPM, add Swing, mute (M) / solo (S) tracks, and Save / Load / Export patterns.
Top bar — current kit, live MIDI status, audio latency, and the master VU meter that reacts to sound.
MIDI — in Chrome/Edge, connect a controller; hitting a pad plays the matching note with real velocity. (Safari has no Web MIDI.)
This is a drum machine — it makes beats (kick/snare/hat), not melodic songs. Every sound here is synthesized live in your browser via the Web Audio API.
